Our Family

Being family means that we grow through all experiences!

We live to share our love for our daughter, Scarlett. She's an amazing gift from God, and a treasure we've loved before we met her. We enjoy our time as a family, while doing our best to share moments with our family throughout the US.

Though our days are few as a family, we've experienced some amazing life adventures. From singing as a family to finding a nice dinner and a movie, we seem to find fun and excitng ways to enjoy life and serving God.

Living life each day, seeking God daily, we continue to find joy and peace and unity that fills our hearts with a deep love. Our family is all over the country and we dedicate this site to share our special moments.

Winter Wonderland

Early in 2024, Nicole and I found ourselves in southen Tennessee, just west of Chattanooga. This snow storm was asolutely amazing!

Thanksgiving: Traditions

Dinner with family is always a blast, but finding some fun places to enjoy the Christmas lights was special. Grabbing a cup of coffee and cocoa with a donut, we found our way to Life University!

Taking time to share Scalett with our family was important in 2024. Here are some of the highlights from our memorable trip. This girl already has 10 states she's been in since June 6!

WBNH: Brake & Head Radio

Growing up in Oklahoma, I knew a lot about comedy radio! Listening to my friends out of Tulsa share the hilarious stories of, "Roy D. Mercer", I've seemed to always find humor in those types of stories. As I got older, I found someone to share in this humor as we started finding entertaining events to parody like those we heard from Tulsa.

We have a little fun with our "Radio" Personalities, as we spoof on news, events, and find interesting trivia to use on our family road trips! So, we put these together in a small site where you can download and hear some of the funny news we've found along the way. Plus we've made a fun way to learn more about each state as well!

ROAD TRIP: Bartlesville, Oklahoma

When you are from the midwest, the phrase is known as:
There's No Place Like Home!
Welcome to Bartlesville, my home. Though we are over 900 miles apart, we always seem to jump at a chance to see the great state of Oklahoma!

ROAD TRIP: Memphis, Tennessee

Many of our trips have had us run throught this gateway city. We've found some fun places to go in the area as we always stop at our Midway Tree. What is the Midway Tree? It's the tree marked for the halfway point between home and Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Take a look at the video made, combining a few trips since 2021.

ROAD TRIP: Alabama

Livig so close to the state line of Alabama, we find ourselves out in the 'Yellow Hammer' state! There are tons of things to do within just a few miles of entering, 'The Heart of Dixie'. From all the lakes and rivers, to sunsets on the Gulf. We love coming to Alabama!

ROAD TRIP: Gulf of Mexico & Atlantic Ocean

If you are anything like us, we enjoy the mountains, the trails, and of course the BEACH! Our moments have included seeing the Gulf Coast from as far West as New Orleans, Louisianna, and as far East as Appalachiacola, Florida. These trips always make for amazing photos and exciting memories lasting a lifetime!

ROAD TRIP: Finding Snow

Living in the South, you know all to well that we are not abke to see much snow in these here parts. But on occasion, we come across a storm or two which we like to run into. We've driven nearly 400 miles one time, just to see snow!
